Hello! My name is Yamilette, I am originally from Puerto Rico and I am a bilingual therapist. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of South Carolina committed to helping families and individuals discover how to be their best selves and live fulfilling lives. I have an additional master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. With this additional training, I am able to focus not only on how the client functions as an individual but also on their relationships with others at all ages.

I use a holistic approach where I integrate mind, body, and soul. When working with me, I will take into consideration how your overall well-being is affected by your emotional, social, physical, and spiritual condition. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to help clients reach their goals by providing them with the necessary tools and resources.

Families and individuals experiencing the issues listed below can benefit from therapy with me:

  • Adult and adolescent mental health

  • Acculturation issues

  • Family life cycle and transitions

  • Stages of life issues

  • Parenting and family functioning

  • Work-related problems

  • Traumatic experiences

  • Challenges for bilingual families

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation, allow me to answer your questions, and help you determine if I am the right therapist for you. My schedule is Monday through Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and I provide services both in English and Spanish, via telehealth only.

Hello! My name is Jennifer, and I am originally from Colombia, South America. I know firsthand how scary changes can be as I made the difficult decision to move to the United States almost 9 years ago. It is because of this experience that I feel I am uniquely qualified to help individuals and families adapt to transitions in their lives.  My desire to help others led to me pursuing and receiving my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

After receiving my degree, I obtained my license in Marriage and Family Therapy. In my career as a bilingual therapist, I have knowledge and experience related to helping clients understand and cope with trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, life changes, etc. When working with me you can expect to be seen, heard, and valued.

Schedule a free 15-minute consultation and allow me to answer your questions and help you determine if I am the right therapist for you. My availability is evenings and Saturdays. I currently provide services both in English and Spanish, via telehealth only.
